A Disney cruise offers a multitude of dining alternatives, making it a gastronomic treasure trove. Choosing where to eat is often the actual issue.

For guests who want the solitude and coziness of their cabin, Disney Cruise offers complimentary room service. There is no delivery fee, so indulge in a complete meal or just a snack.

It’s important to remember a few exclusions, though. While there may be additional fees for some drinks and special delicacies, the majority of the room service menu is free.

Although it’s not required, we frequently leave a modest $2 or $3 tip for the service.

When you first walk into your cabin, the room service menu may not be visible.

An insider tip would be to look in the middle drawer of the desk. Usually, it’s there, among the breakfast order slips.

One of my favorite things to do on embarkation day is order room service from Disney Cruise Line and have the delicious All-Hands-On-Deck Cheese Plate. Even if I have the option to dine at a restaurant, I would rather take my time packing and getting ready for the trip.

A small snack on embarkation day also makes a big difference.

Breakfast is served in half-hour increments between 5 and 9:30 a.m. via Disney Cruise Room Service, which is served on the Dream’s balcony with coffee and grapefruit overlooking the ocean.

To order the complimentary continental breakfast, fill out the menu in your stateroom or give room service a call. The menu is often located in the middle drawer of the desk.

Ask the cabin attendant for more if you run out of food or are unable to locate a menu.

Just mark the things you want to get to complete the menu. By 3:00 am, at the latest, you can hand the completed menu on the outside doorknob of your cabin door.

I don’t typically order room service for breakfast unless I’m staying in a beautiful place with a balcony, like Alaska. Sipping a warm cup of coffee on the balcony has a certain allure.

Each ship and itinerary may have different breakfast options. Here’s an example of Disney Cruise Line’s room service offering for continental breakfast:

  • Juices: orange, apple, and grapefruit
  • Bread & Pastries: Fresh fruit bowl, Danish pastries, an assortment of muffins, croissants, doughnuts, white toast, whole wheat toast, English muffins, bagel
  • Condiments: Selection of jams, honey, margarine, butter, and cream cheese
  • Cold Cereals: Corn Flakes, Rasin Bran, Rice Krispies, Fruit Loops, Special K, Frosted Flakes, and Low-Fat Granola
    • Served with milk—whole, skimmed, low-fat
  • Beverages: low-fat milk, whole milk, skim milk, chocolate milk, regular coffee, decaffeinated coffee, a selection of teas, and hot chocolate

It’s crucial to know that the morning you disembark from the ship, room service is not accessible. There is room service available until 1:30 am on the final day of the voyage.

But you won’t have to worry about becoming hungry when you leave the ship.

Usually, the restaurant where you had supper the night before gets to serve you breakfast.
